Summary
This position provides functional expertise on complex projects/initiatives for their assigned area(s) of responsibility. S/he strategically develops and implements efficient and effective marketing programs and plans that result in measurable business goals and drive market awareness of Lincoln’s products and/or services for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Responsibilities
* Creates investment-related communications and marketing collateral that supports the funds within our variable annuity products * Develops, identifies, writes and edits a broad range of materials to communicate new fund introductions to the market. Focus is on generating interest in both the funds and the variable annuity products. * Must be able to clearly articulate complex investment programs and factors impacting performance * Must be able to connect the investment story to the value proposition of the product * Collaborates with our asset management partners to leverage their content and promote their capabilities through our distribution channels. * Builds relationships and collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to help define the story and coordinate the layout and design of marketing materials. * Utilizes benchmarks and performance metrics to track and assess the effectiveness of existing programs. * Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s), assess the impact, and collaborates with cross functional groups to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies. * Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Identifies strategic process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Directs/executes approved strategy decisions and contributes to strategy creation for assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Provides strategic direction to build and enhance the capability for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Develops, implements and evaluates strategic marketing plans and programs, in collaboration with key business stakeholders, driven by assigned area(s) of responsibility’s business goals and objectives. * Anticipates and provides strategies/solutions to complex marketing issues and/or concerns. * Serves as a subject matter expert and partners with key business stakeholders to strategically develop and implement new complex marketing approaches which enhance and maintain the competitive position of his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility in the * Creates related communications and marketing collateral, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, that support consistent enterprise core messaging and business goals for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Communicates complex marketing plans and ensures they are understood by all stakeholders. * Ensures marketing collateral content is accurate, relevant, and consistent in terms of style, quality tone of voice, and which optimizes market awareness of Lincoln’s products and/or services. * Builds relationships and partners with key business leaders and internal stakeholders to elicit and capture complex marketing business goals and ensure all marketing tools, collateral and plans are in alignment with the business goals and objectives * Directs and/or oversees concurrent marketing projects from inception to execution including but not limited to: project planning, resource planning, change management and communications planning, managing changes to the project scope, and ensure * Utilizes resources to ensures that complex marketing collateral is compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and is consistent with Lincoln editorial and branding standards.
Ideal Candidate
* 5- 7 Years’ experience in marketing that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position * 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors) * FINRA Series 6 required
