Summary
The Senior Manager of Marketing is charged with successfully promoting the suite of NACUBO products and services through targeted messaging that resonates with the association’s key audiences and delivers results. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Director in creating strategies and producing consistent marketing materials to NACUBO members and stakeholders. These materials and strategies should reflect NACUBO’s brand identity, desired position, and consistent messaging. The Senior Manager will track campaign performance and impact by monitoring online publication purchases, event registrations, downloads, and additional engagement metrics, making adjustments to the marketing strategy as needed to meet targets. The Senior Manager works with staff at all levels of the association to continually promote and improve the quality of marketing collateral, messaging across all communication platforms including the NACUBO website, and other marketing delivery mechanisms. The Senior Manager works collaboratively with the Public Relations Manager to develop effective social media strategies; and with the Marketing Specialist to track campaign performance and identify strategies for increased effectiveness. This position reports to the Director, Communications and Marketing and will be part of a four-member team.
Responsibilities

These materials and strategies should reflect NACUBO’s brand identity, desired position, and consistent messaging. * The Senior Manager will track campaign performance and impact by monitoring online publication purchases, event registrations, downloads, and additional engagement metrics, making adjustments to the marketing strategy as needed to meet targets. * The Senior Manager works with staff at all levels of the association to continually promote and improve the quality of marketing collateral, messaging across all communication platforms including the NACUBO website, and other marketing delivery mechanisms. * The Senior Manager works collaboratively with the Public Relations Manager to develop effective social media strategies; and with the Marketing Specialist to track campaign performance and identify strategies for increased effectiveness. * This position reports to the Director, Communications and Marketing and will be part of a four-member team. **EACUBO** * Serves as primary writer for all online and print marketing collateral, maintaining consistent voice and messaging. * Collaborates with the Director in production and on-time delivery of EACUBO print collateral for the EACUBO Annual Meeting and EACUBO Workshop, working with meeting planners on content and message development; an external designer on creative look and feel; and print house on mailings. * Works with external editor to ensure on-site programs are free of typographical and/or grammatical errors. * Conceptualizes themes for EACUBO Annual Meeting and EACUBO Workshop. * Manages external designers in the conceptualization of designs for EACUBO collateral. * Secures approval of all content from EACUBO leadership. * Works closely with the Director in creating and executing marketing plans for the EACUBO Annual Meeting and EACUBO Workshop. * Posts content regularly to EACUBO social media vehicles and develops strategies to increase EACUBO’s social media presence. * Develops and manages budgets for various projects and activities. * Performs other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, required. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in an association environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Exceptional writing, editing and creative skills, and solid relationship management skills. * Significant experience working with email marketing software systems. * Skilled working with association management software systems, preferably netFORUM. * Web knowledge including use of a CMS tool and HTML. * Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Demonstrated experience with graphics tools such as Adobe, Photoshop and Illustrator. * The successful individual will demonstrate an ability to work in a collaborative team environment as a leader, team member and professional role model. **Physical Demands** * Must be able to move about the office as well as sit for long periods of time. * Must be able to use the phone and computer, sometimes for prolonged periods. * Significant travel may be required.
