Lincoln Center Digital is a new group at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. We are focused on developing one of a kind, unique consumer experiences online, on mobile devices and physically across our 16-acre campus. We are a dynamic and energetic in-house creative group looking to push boundaries in the digital space. The team we are building will be responsible for all creative digital products from strategy to execution across a broad range of performing arts events.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer for this growing fast-paced digital team.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned UX /IA individual that has experience developing strategies and is very hands-on while creating user flows, wireframes, and leading UX research. The performing arts industry is ripe for innovative thinking and we are looking for someone that is an expert at the basics and is willing and passionate to go well beyond what is expected.
- Gather and document requirements sessions for web and mobile
- Develop taxonomy for all digital experiences
- Create user flows for the most important user tasks
- Design detailed wireframes for different types of products
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions
- Lead and develop prototypes for testing and internal/external reviews
- Improve user experiences incrementally based on analytics and user feedback
- Lead various forms of user experience testing and document the results
- Maintain all UX/IA templates, documentation, assets, personas, design mockups, user flows, navigational maps and experience documentation for assigned projects
- Develop experience audits from other industries that can influence our own products
- Collect and document research relevant to new digital experiences LCPA is considering
- Partner directly with designers, developers and project managers to develop engaging user experiences
- Minimum of 8 years of UX, IA experience
- Strong online portfolio that demonstrates approaches and solution
- Experience with data visualization
- Arts and/or Entertainment experience a plus
- Experience with ecommerce experiences and platforms
- Pro-active self-starter that can manage and execute multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under reasonable yet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
