Summary
We are looking for a Hyper Converged, Regional Account Executive that possesses strong business technical acumen and sales tenacity. In this role, you will usher customers to new technologies around Software Defined Infrastructure and Software Defined Storage based on Lenovo enterprise server innovation. This role will introduce solutions through Lenovo and Lenovo Business Partners for an end-to-end client experience supported by Lenovo and augmented by Nutanix technical sales and support expertise.
Responsibilities
- Use relationship management techniques to develop selling relationships and opportunities within partner organizations - Develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned Territory. - Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect in partner organization, Nutanix. - Utilize a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospect and develop a formal presentation addressing business needs. - Respond to RFP's and follow up with prospects. - Develop an account plan to sell to customers based on their business needs. - Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects. - Recommend marketing strategies. - Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information. - Provide, or facilitate training opportunities for your accounts. - Provide product feedback back to engineering to design complete business solutions. - Call into C-levels and lead conversations with key IT decision makers.
Ideal Candidate
**Ideal Strengths:** * Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills. * Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development. * Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques * Aptitude for understanding how datacenter technology products and solutions solve business problems * In-depth understanding of the competitive datacenter landscape. * Ability to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges and tell compelling Lenovo + Nutanix hardware and data management storage solutions. * Experience using SFDC and other CRM software. * Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years. **Position Requirements:** * Minimum of 5 years of customer facing sales experience * Successful experience working in both large and small/emerging company environments * Successful track record of introducing new product(s) into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business. * Successful track record of presenting and positioning IT primary storage and/or server virtualization offerings directly to end customers and via reseller channels. * Successful track record of reseller channel recruitment, enablement and management. * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
