Summary
The Director of Field Sales is responsible for managing our existing strategic sales managers and account executives and building strategy for the future. Hiring, training, developing and leading successful teams that are focused on acquiring new clients and consistently exceeding quarterly and annual quotas. Requires understanding of the Real Estate / Property management industry (preferred), ability to maintain C-level relationships, and enterprise deal experience.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute target account strategy alongside key executive and technical leadership. * Direct sales team activities into large strategic accounts to ensure that company revenue goals and objectives are achieved quarter over quarter and year over year. * Accurately and consistently forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers. * Drive structured, consultative sales process: partner with internal and external teams to identify, penetrate, and close large, strategic software deals. * Hire, onboard, retain and motivate staff to meet and exceed objectives; Ensure standards of success are clearly articulated and hold team accountable to standards?. Ensure team is trained effectively on the sales process and coach them to effectively execute?. * Effectively communicate direction of the organization and how the team supports the organization’s success.? * Collaborate with solutions engineering, implementation services, customer success, product, and engineering teams to create a seamless customer experience.? * Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years experience in technology Sales, minimum 5 managing teams. Preferably in consultative,strategic sales environments * Outstanding track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales quotas personally and as a Sales leader. * Proven sales leadership success with all-around expertise in: people development, account development, organizational excellence, exceptional sales management, and sales operations.? * Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and agile-minded leadership style with a passion to succeed. * Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.? * Skilled communicator; strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations. * Software-as-a-Service selling experience required. * BS/BA degree required.
