Summary
The Marketing Manager I owns the lifecycle of email or direct mail marketing tactics from strategy to execution and be the product owner of such tactics within the marketing team while embodying the Patch Values. Work closely with the Marketing Program Delivery team to integrate it into our client delivery process and be accountable for meeting established KPIs. In addition to managing direct marketing tactics, at times there will also be ownership of specific projects/products that enhance our effectiveness in our direct marketing acquisition tactics.
Responsibilities
* Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction * Experienced managing your “product” including forecasts, cross functional leadership, launching line extensions/new products and packaging them up and selling them both internally and externally, owning KPIs * Be the resident expert of the marketing tactic and always be a step ahead of what improvements look like * Conduct on-going analysis of competitive landscape, providing trending and recommendations to team * Develop necessary materials and resources to educate and promote both internally and externally: creative briefs, process documents, performance tracking requirements, client facing documents * Work closely with internal client facing teams in understanding and evaluating new direct marketing acquisition tactics, optimization opportunities, creating new opportunities * New vendor outreach to acquire overview of capabilities, complete vendor analysis for any new relationships, and coordinate with vendor contacts during project execution * Work hand in hand with Kasasa’s product team to integrate a new product offering * Provide on-going support for ad-hoc needs and requests from cross-functional teams as opportunities develop
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or equivalent combination of education and experience * Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in direct marketing B2C acquisition tactics such as: direct mail, email, loyalty marketing * Knowledge of direct marketing acquisition best practices, success metrics * Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data * Organized, self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and related communications simultaneously * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Results-oriented and willing to shift plans if necessary to meet goals
