Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering, you will team with members of the File Transfer Division sales organization to provide pre-sales assistance including; overcoming technical challenges, sales objections and to provide technical demonstrations and evaluation assistance to organizations interested in the file transfer family of products. The overall goal of this individual is to over-achieve the sales quota.
Responsibilities
* Perform solution demonstrations remotely via WebEx or onsite if required. * Participate in discovery calls and inquiries in order to assess the prospects business and technical requirements and define a solution architecture that meets their needs. * Document all customer questions to ensure timely follow-up on all outstanding issues * Prepare for, develop and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) for evaluators * Proactively follow up with prospects throughout the POC lifecycle * Assist evaluators with configuration of their POC systems. * Respond to request for proposals and request for information. * Provide support to evaluators and prospects during the POC process * Perform design and sizing of systems based on prospect’s requirements. * Provide training to Account Managers to increase their product knowledge. * Assist Marketing with messaging, webinars, trade shows, and thought leadership. * Provide feedback and input to Product Management regarding current and future needs gleaned from Prospects and Customers. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Experience:** * Education - Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent. * 5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing role with software technology. * Strong verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills with an ability to interact favorably with customers. Must be personable and possess high level of personal integrity. * Possess strong troubleshooting skills. * Consistently demonstrate attention to detail. * Strong research and analytical ability. * Ability to prioritize and work independently with tight deadlines. * Ability to Multi-Task * Ability to understand and explain many different technologies and to communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms. * Experience with the following protocols/technologies: FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, FTPS, AS2, SNMP, WMI, ICMP, SSH, SSL. * Solid understanding of market landscape with exceptional ability to position products. * Certification in Miller-Heiman, solution selling or similar training a plus. **Preferred Experience:** * Strong technical background in IT Infrastructure software with managed file transfer, enterprise application integration a plus. * Experience in the Healthcare industry including knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
