Senior Technical Lead, Online Health Services

For almost 100 years, PPFA has done more than any other organization in the United States to improve women’s health and safety, prevent unintended pregnancies, and advance the right and ability of individuals and families to make informed and responsible health care decisions. The Health Care Innovation Department of PPFA seeks a Senior Technical Lead. Reporting to the Senior Director Online Health Services; he/she will work within the Health Care Innovation team to develop platforms for mobile healthcare delivery and help drive the development of the next iteration of our telehealth service offering. In this role, he/she will be responsible for architecting a solution that meets the needs of a complex set of stakeholders. The chosen candidate must be detail oriented, work well independently and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

* Transforming the patient experience for millions of patients across the country * Assist in driving the development of the next iteration of telehealth offering * Architecting a solution that meets the needs of a complex set of stakeholders including overseeing the development of native mobile apps. * Create online healthcare technology that provides patients with a seamless care experience from online to in person. * Lead team to drive design and development of the overall architecture of the solution both for MVP and the long-term platform solution. * Develop innovative solutions to address challenges of interoperability between systems to allow for structured yet seamless data sharing.

* Experience delivering native mobile applications for iOS & Android * Comfortable with Swift and java languages * Demonstrated knowledge of API Design * Ability to work with security teams to architect secure solutions * Experience with EHR/EMR or enterprise architecture design * Two plus years managing junior developers * Experience collaborating with and vetting outside vendors * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with user research and product teams to develop solutions * Web based programming language such as PHP, Ruby helpful * Experience instrumenting apps and/or digital properties to track user behavior and app performance * Experience in Healthcare industry and understanding HIPPA compliance experience helpful
