Summary
Ingredion is hiring Sales Coordinator to support sales representatives and coordinate sales related activities for our US/Canada Ingredient Sales team. The Sales Coordinator will support the business as a key member of the team in helping sales representatives improve productivity and selling. The position plays a critical role in assuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded while also acting as a communications hub between field sales and the internal functions of the company.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating the collection and assimilation of various documents with sales & customers * Utilizing Salesforce.com to support updates and information related to key activities or initiatives * Supporting processes related to special pricing, freight rates and other various daily customer centric activities while seeking opportunities to enhance and streamline these processes to impact selling efficiency and customer needs * Providing key tools to Sales team during contract time, such as customer pricing history and other important data * Working collaboratively with sales to troubleshoot customer issues and support customer needs * Supporting the sales team with internal follow-up on supply and quality actions and needs related to Distributor engagement. Supporting and assisting the sales team with key events such as Trade Shows, IFT and other key customer events * Proactively seek external knowledge to improve understanding and work output

**The Sales Coordinator position is well-suited for you if you:** * Act as a liaison between sales and internal groups such as Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, etc * Enjoy building a good understanding of the selling process * Are flexible responsive to team and customer needs * Thrive in detail-oriented work and enjoy significant cross functional interaction * Are highly organized and enjoy coordinating projects, training and other corporate needs * Work collaboratively with peers and others and like to offer new ideas and thinks out-of-the-box **Qualified candidates will have:** * An Associate or bachelor’s degree focused in business administration or management preferred with 3 or more years’ experience in sales support, customer service or administration roles * Experience with salesforce.com and demonstrated advanced proficiency with windows based software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with key members of our Go-To-Market team, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Quality and technical community * Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work with multiple levels within an organization
