Summary
The Advertising Sales Coordinator Intern will work within the Advertising Sales Department and is responsible for sales/client support. This position will be a key resource within the ad sales team and will work cross-functionally with several departments including: Client Services, Marketing and Business Development. Clients include major retail, hospitality, auto and B to B companies, and advertising agencies. Our goal is to find and develop a Sales Coordinator Intern who can be transitioned to a full-time coordinator.
Responsibilities
* Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, and book catering as needed. * Update and maintain team’s calendar and sales contacts and leads. * Draft and process travel, entertainment and business expenses on a timely basis * Assist when appropriate in preparation and drafting of proposals and presentations. * Ad-hoc projects that arise for the team
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a focus on marketing or sales, or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills. * Proven ability to manage multiple projects and be organized and detail oriented. * Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience in successfully communicating verbally and in writing to all levels of employees. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment.
