Summary
As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be the Technical interface to customer for resolution of customers’ requests related to the Product Stewardship products, with continuous focus on client delight.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer support when communicating and assisting customers. Ensure that high quality standards are maintained for all customer interactions and issue resolutions. - Responds to client requests within stated guidelines and contractual Service Level Agreements. - Provide level 1 and 2 support related to Product Stewardship products - Diagnose customer issue, by investigation and troubleshooting the issue - Reproduce client issue on customer care environment - Use the CRM tool to track, manage, update, and provide resolution to customer issue - Gather information, via investigation and troubleshooting for escalation to Tier 3 or other teams as necessary - Work on special projects as assigned by Support Management, and communicate project status to management team. - Perform other customer support duties as necessary
Ideal Candidate
**Required Education:** * A college/university/Technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience **Required Experience** * 1+ years of proven software or application support experience * Knowledge of follow IT related products: * Latest versions of MS Access, MS SQL Server * Creating MS SQL queries and scripts * PC administration & troubleshooting skills * Windows Products * Network and Domain expertise of environmental software a plus * Server and network administration * Awareness of Environment Health and Safety as they relate to IHS customer needs is an asset. **Other Skills** - Effective interpersonal and professional communication skills: listening and understanding and verbal and written to deliver superior to deliver superior customer support - Advanced listening skills and customer service attitude with the ability to show sensitivity to user’s questions and requests - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage time and work flow to meet service levels and priorities - Ability to set and manage client expectations - Ability to write technical information in a structured manner - A self-starter who is results-oriented and able to operate effectively within a team environment - Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and solutions - Strong customer orientation with ability to develop and maintain client relationships - Aptitude for problem analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and resolution - High level of ownership and accountability - Ability to work effectively, independently, in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
