Information Technology Lead

* Manage day-to-day operations for IT services at multiple sites, including email, phone, desktop and server and enterprise application support * Administers, designs, specifies, configures, installs and manages the agency IT hardware infrastructure including network hardware, servers, and telecommunications services such as personal computers, servers, printers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet service providers * Administers, specifies, configures, installs and manages the agency IT software infrastructure for servers, enterprise services and software applications. * Implements and maintains all IT initiatives, and provides a highly reliable, proactive and responsive IT function * Ensures the highest levels of service delivery, systems availability, security controls and disaster recovery * Manage the backup and retention of data on local and offsite storage devices. Coordinates system maintenance and replication to offsite storage * Ensures standards development and implementation of best practices for IT services * Implement appropriate security measures consistent with confidentiality requirements. * Collaborates with administration in the development and implementation of the annual IT budget * Prepares systems cost estimates and cost-benefit analysis as needed * Helps establish and build relationships with IT vendors in conjunction with agency leadership * Participates in agency committees and task force as assigned. * You have 5 years’ experience, holding at minimum a 2 year associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or you have 7 to 10 years’ Server\Network Administration experience with relevant training\certifications to support your success in this role. * You have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, take initiative and follow through, work well in a diverse team setting, can work independently with little supervision, and you have strong organization and prioritization skills.
