This position is for a Windows Systems Administrator for a mixed and growing environment of VMWare View, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Solaris and Red Hat.
This position will work with the existing Operations Branch administrative teams (Desktop Support, Windows and Unix Administration) to design, implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support customer environments. This position will require implementing new system hardware and software, and developing local operating procedures and policies as needed or requested. This position will need to be adept at monitoring the ongoing operation of the desktops and servers while providing utilization reports to identify problems and corrective actions as needed.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance of Secret.
* 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2008r2, VMware vSphere5, Citrix XenApp 5.0/6.5 product suite, Managing Active Directory Users and Computers and Group Policies, IIS 6.0 and higher
* at least 3 years of experience multitasking and working in a fast paced environment
* CompTIA Security+ certification
* Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, MCSA, etc.)
