Summary
Honeywell FM&T is looking for an amazing Senior Administrative Assistant. You will be a key partner to several senior leaders, providing order where there is chaos and coordinating key tasks that keep the leadership team humming. You are a proactive, trustworthy team player who values organization, collaboration, and results. You enjoy solving problems, keeping track of people and processes, serving as an information hub for teams, and equipping leaders to effectively do their jobs. You tackle everything from arranging travel, meetings, and presentations to tracking reports, data and tasks. You effectively use judgment, initiative, and a knowledge of the functions to support to execute your job. Responsibilities
**Planning and Organizing:** * Using knowledge of priorities, organize the leaders’ daily priorities, manage calendars, schedule meetings and resolve any scheduling conflicts as they arise * Book travel and process travel expenses * Plan important meetings, off-site meetings and team events; coordinating all aspects of planning and logistics to ensure smooth execution **Managing and Sharing Information:** * Track and organize key departmental documentation, electronic files and expenses * Help manage team communication; make sure everyone knows what’s happening and what they need to do through sharing executive updates, follow-up notes and project status meetings. * Handle sensitive information requiring a high degree of discretion and absolute confidentiality **Collaborating and Problem Solving:** * Act as a liaison and coordinate between departments to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational challenges * Partner with key stakeholders, help provide support for the leadership team and collaborate on special projects
Ideal Candidate
**You Must Have:** * US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy “Q”-level security clearance. * High School diploma or GED. * Minimal 5 years of experience in a customer-facing office administrative role. **We Value:** * Highly effective time management and organizational skills to seamlessly manage multiple tasks and keep very busy, strategic leaders on track * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Comfort communicating with personnel at all levels * Great interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to communication styles of team members * Ability to maintain professional composure under pressure and be willing and able to pivot with shifting priorities * A positive “get it done” attitude and approach to the job * Customer focus and an approachable, easy-going personality * Initiative, self-management, effective independent decision making and proactive problem solving skills. * Significant experience and advanced proficiency with MS Office, Microsoft Outlook and other business applications
