Summary
The Order Entry Administrator coordinates and enters the input of sales orders into SAP. Liaisons and communicates with supply chain, sales and customers. The employee must express a strong customer focus with exceptional time management skills. The Order Entry Administrator should possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills, be assertive, and have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize projects in-line with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Processing of Stock Transport Orders for plant US45 * Receive sales orders, verify terms as per quotes, confirm correct part numbers, configuration and pricing * Enter orders into SAP and confirm receipt of order with customer or sales agent * Verify stock availability of products with each Smiths entity * Inform global OTI, sales and customers of ship dates and delays when required * Update orders in SAP in the event of changes * Confirm state, local and government contract compliance of orders * Work with TCO’s and understand basic requirements of licenses and compliance * Work closely with Order Fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and compliant delivery of product
Ideal Candidate
**Position Requirements:** * Position Requires knowledge of Canadian taxes (what to charge and when) * Knowledge of SAP (ERP tool) a plus, but not necessary. Will accept knowledge in another ERP system * Education/Training: Minimum – Associates Degree * Knowledge of basic accounting principles * Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer * Strong communication and problem solving skills * Strong attention to details * Customer focused * Willingness to perform tasks outside of job scope * Team Player and a can-do attitude a must * Supervises: None **Physical/Mental Requirements:** * Ability to Multitask * Ability to lift up to 50lbs **Work Environment:** * Fast paced work environment with a strong sense of teamwork and customer focus. Must be able to meet deadlines and take initiative. * Must be eligible for a US Security Clearance
