Summary
The HRMS Specialist II is responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing and assisting with weekly HRMS maintenance activity submitted by field operations via the HRMS system; preserving data integrity at all times; showing initiative in streamlining current processes and procedures; providing HR assistance and exceptional customer service to HMSHost field operations; and performing all other duties as assigned by management. This position typically reports to the Sr Manager HRMS & Payroll Projects.
Responsibilities
* Demonstrates comprehension of the complete life-cycle of an associate in PeopleSoft HRMS * Assists department management with analysis and troubleshooting of invalid transactions submitted by field operations * Provides detailed information to field locations as needed to correct invalid information * Assists with testing efforts for updates, issues, and/or enhancements in the HRMS system * Provides accurate information, training, and appropriate follow-up to all customers * Provides feedback and solutions to management team on process and procedure enhancements * Identifies problem areas and overall department training issues * Understands payroll-relevant information as related to HRMS * Assists department management in communicating updates to all involved parties * Responds appropriately to all inquiries made by managers and staff with regard to HRMS/Payroll processes, procedures, and policies
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:** * Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent * Requires 3 years Human Resources and/or payroll experience, 2-years experience in a high volume service environment and HRMS data entry experience * Requires demonstrated analytical skills in a high volume, team environment, ability to resolve inquiries from customers in a timely fashion by utilizing resources available and excellent communication skills * Requires knowledge of HR policies and procedures * Requires demonstrated attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Requires knowledge of computerized information systems used in HR applications and Excel * Requires a high level of ethical conduct and confidentiality at all times * Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) * Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran (M/F/D/V) * Drug Free Workplace (DFW)
