- The Human Resources Admin will support HR at the 24/7 Elyria manufacturing plant.
- Position will be 3-6 months with strong possibility of extension.
- Expanding and improving job descriptions for hourly and salary employees.
- Meeting with hiring managers and supervisors to qualify and verify skills and requirements for the job descriptions.
- Manage follow up with hiring managers.
- Tracking of current timesheets - must have strong Excel skills.
- Update New Hire orientation packets for hourly and salary employees.
- Purging of various HR Files.
- Attendance tracking.
- Formalize and activate a documented process for all employees receiving training at this Plant including safety training and other required training sign-offs.
- Identify current HR metric systems and upgrade and modify them to be used to compile information needed for strategic employment decision making. Examples; attendance and call off statistics, frequency and cost of over time, cost of temporary transfers and the corresponding cost of overtime to cover those vacancies.
- Work with HR Manager and Site Manager to create and document site policy and procedure.
- Other Projects/Duties as assigned.
Education
- Minimum of HS degree required; College Degree not required but prior HR support experience is preferred.
Skills
- Candidates MUST have strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
- Ideal candidate will be highly articulate, proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Attention to detail critical.
- Ability to create, organize and maintain large volumes of data.
