Summary
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the processing of multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for their assigned business units, which includes the payment of wages, bonuses, allowances, and deductions.
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain payroll information as required with an outsourced payroll environment using ADP GlobalView software. - Responsible for all aspects of time and attendance supporting the assigned payroll clients for things such as vacation accruals, benefits, deductions and garnishments. - Process vendor transactions to and from ADP related to bi-weekly payroll processing. - Perform gross to net calculation, audit and balancing. - Serve as first point of contact for employees for time, attendance and payroll issues. - Respond to inquiries and complies with various federal and state reporting requirements in a timely fashion, which includes but is not limited to: employment verifications; census and statistical surveys of employee; and payroll activities. - Audit each assigned payroll to ensure 100% accuracy before approval process.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2-4 years of payroll experience supporting full service payroll processing, time and attendance and payroll auditing. - Working knowledge of Kronos/eTime based time and attendance systems and HRIS systems. - Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles. - Knowledge of multi-state payroll legislation. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. **Other:** * APA Certified Payroll Professional desired * Experience working with vendor software packages to include ADP GlobalView or SAP and ADP eTIME or Kronos.
