Timekeeper/Accounting Specialist

JBS® USA is a leading processor of beef, pork and lamb in the U.S., a leading processor of beef in Canada and the largest cattle feeder in the world with operations in the U.S. and Canada. We are also a majority shareholder of Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, the second largest poultry company in the U.S., with operations in the U.S. and Mexico.

This position will work closely with operations and accounting management to assure the maintenance of internal control procedures, standards and compliance as it pertains to the Sarbanes Oxley Act and to ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles.

* Audit and reconcile wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents for more than 600 employees. * Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism. * Coordinate with production on weekly/bi-weekly payroll reporting and balancing. * Maintain company records and be audit compliant in all aspects of operation * Timekeeping/Payroll responsibilities for Canton complex. * Work closely with Managers, Supervisors and HR Personnel to ensure success of operations. * Other duties as required by management and supervision

* 1-2 years clerical accounting/timekeeping and payroll experience preferred * Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing * Must be able to examine and verify payroll documents and reports * Must be able to prepare a variety of reports and analyses * Must be detail oriented, be able to multitask, be organized, possess good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines is a must. * Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices * Knowledge of SAP, KRONOS, and Microsoft Office **Educational Requirements:** High school diploma/GED. Associates Degree preferred.
