Summary
This position falls under HARMAN’s Automotive Services Division, specifically within the Automotive Services Sales organization and will be responsible for supporting activities that will recognize the revenue for the business unit, including coordinating customer approvals for delivery of completed projects, obtaining production reports to recognize license revenue, etc.
Responsibilities
* Administer assigned account activities to ensure appropriate revenue recognition: * Coordinate customer approvals for delivery of completed projects. * Obtain production reports to recognize license revenue. * Ensure that purchase orders, statements of work, master services agreements and other support materials are appropriately recorded to document pricing, scope and terms and conditions. * Engage with business unit controller to track recognition and completion of budget line items. * Support the tracking of business updates and work with controlling to incorporate changes into forecasts and other business planning documents * Support the monthly reporting and operational review processes by updating monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational dashboards * Work with controllers and work teams ensure that appropriate project time reporting codes are set-up and active for the purpose of financial reporting. * Represent business unit as liaison for Sales administration activities related to quotations, invoices, orders, account status and after sale follow-up. * Reconcile sales pipeline and new award status with sales teams and controlling to assure consistency of status, probability and values. * Interface with various in-house departments to plan and initiate customer requests for services. Coordinate all documents with appropriate departments. * Maintain all finalized documentation associated with active projects at business unit customers and provide status on request. * Ad hoc duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's Degree required * 3-5 years experience * Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products (Particularly Excel) * CRM experience preferred * Maintain high-level of customer service expected by our internal and external customers. * Results oriented * Customer service-focused * Good change management skills * Solid team player **Preferred Qualifications:** * Strong SAP experience and accurately inputting sales orders **Eligibility Requirements:** * Willingness to travel 10%. * Willingness to work in an office located in Novi. * Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
