Test Engineer

Grayhill, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of intuitive human interface solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate in-circuit test programs.
• Perform root cause analysis on Production electrical failures.
• Specify test station equipment based on design requirements.
• Train Production associates to execute test software.
• Support CCA and ICA analysis process. Interface with internal and external customers regarding in-circuit production testing issues.
• Act as a liaison to outlying Grayhill facilities.
• Estimate test station development costs for new programs.
• Evaluate and recommend potential new test equipment.
• Research and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Execute new product development procedures.
• Coach and mentor associates.
• Participate in seminars, meetings and training sessions as required to maintain a working knowledge of new developments, techniques and products in the industry.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Electronics Technology (coupled with applicable work experience) required 4+ years’ related work experience (i.e. test engineer, quality engineer, design engineer, lab engineer, electrical engineer, etc…)
• Proficiency Teradyne programming required
• Must understand and have experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Minitab
• Experience with FabMaster
• Experience with Gage R&R (repeatability and reproducibility)
• Understanding and familiarity of AS9100, Medical/Healthcare Product Requirements, Military Specifications, Automotive specifications a plus!
