Summary
The Sales Operations Manager reports to the Sales Operations Director and focuses on projects, programs, and systems that improve the productivity of the growing sales team. This role also interfaces with other internal groups and stakeholders including finance, marketing, legal and engineering.
Responsibilities
* Work with sales management to develop and improve processes involving, affecting and supporting the inside and enterprise sales teams * Proactively identify and explore opportunities for sales process improvements and facilitate implementing changes * Provide project management support for and advice to sales team leaders to help successfully execute new programs * Manage a team of professional sales operations individuals * Assist with sales planning, inclusive of updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan * Manage sales compensation program including assisting with plan design, CallidusCloud solution and assessing effectiveness of plans based on performance and costs * Collaborate with marketing and product management in the creation of programs to drive revenue * Partners with Deals Desk team on sales processes that support complete booking packages * Maintain and modify sales territories and provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications** * 3+ years experience in sales operations * 2 years management experience in a business-to-business environment * Able to work effectively within a sales team environment * Strong problem solving, analytical, planning, and reasoning skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven experience handling conflicting priorities * Proven experience with continuous process improvement * Able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information * Able to coordinate with teams across locations and time zones * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in sales operations or management consulting within the software industry * Knowledge of sales methodologies and sales force automation tools * Experience working in high-growth environments * Experience with Salesforce.com * Business intelligence and reporting experience
