Summary
The Manager, Sales Operations supports the business-to-business (B2B) sales arm of Sears Commercial by helping to drive sales productivity, sales forecasting, sales analytics and modeling, deal structuring, discounts process, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the B2B sales team.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates sales forecasting, and planning process used within the sales organization. * Proactively diagnoses the analytical requirements of the sales organizations; designs and delivers reporting to meet their requirements. * Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. * Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the supported sales organization. * Partners with Sales Management on business planning and strategy for their respective sales areas. * Implements technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. * Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organizations planning efforts. * Generates weekly forecasts and metric reports & provides analysis for Sales Management. * Assists in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and sales plan.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment whether in a leadership/management capacity or on the operations side of the house (Salesforce.com). This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) candidates who have focused primarily on operations and are interested in leading a transformation could be a great fit as long as they understand B2B sales and are comfortable with project management. **Required Skills:** * Superior analytical skills * Intermediate MS Excel skills * Experience using CRM applications – specifically Salesforce * B2B sales experience or first hand knowledge * Excellent two-way communication skills (verbal and written) with both internal and external customers * Change management and performance management skills. **Job Requirements:** * Bachelors Degree * 5-10 years of related experience
