Summary
Provide full range of senior level administrative support to the General Counsel and Board of Directors of Genworth. Work closely with other administrative assistants as well as the board of directors, senior leaders, company executives, external customers and other third parties.
Responsibilities
* Works closely with Securities and Corporate Governance Counsel with scheduling Board and Committee Meetings, setting up Board calls and sending out notices to Directors and Senior Leaders * Maintain calendars for General Counsel, board meetings, pre-board meetings and coordinates with CEO’s assistant * Prepares and maintains Board member address and phone lists * Schedule and manage logistics for meetings, offsite events and other activities * Arrange travel for board members on corporate jets and ground transportation as well as arranging travel for General Counsel and others in Legal Department * Reconcile multiple expense accounts and corporate jet reports * Assist with budget planning * Set-up and manage Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Expense Reimbursement and other administrative process-related items * Coordinates regular contact and open communication with the Board of Directors * Oversees requests from Board members to ensure such requests are completed in a timely and professional manner * Interface with customers, vendors, and other external parties
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * 5 years senior administrative assistant experience * Exceptional skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs * Exceptional communication skills, confidence and professional presence * Highest level of integrity and ensure security of confidential information * Superior organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, strong prioritization abilities * Proactive and professional approach * Proven good judgment and creative problem solving skills * Strong written communication and proof reading skills * Extremely high level of attention to detail and follow up * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently, use initiative, make substantive decisions quickly, and be a team player **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree preferred, or comparable work experience * 5+ years senior level administrative assistant experience * Notary preferred * Must be able to work flexible work hours and overtime as needed
