Research Analyst/Associate

The Analyst/Associate will be an integral team member with significant accountability for fundamental research and modeling.
- Research and present market and economic fundamentals and emerging trends relative to the multifamily industry including analyzing employment, demographics, supply pipeline, and commercial space activities.
- Formulate and understand relationships among income levels, rents, job growth, etc.
- Perform data analysis including basic statistical concepts (mean, variance, etc) and correlation analysis, multivariate regression modeling and forecasting.
- Compile market research and prepare investment materials both for internal and external constituents.
- Compile and maintain research database including supply pipeline.
- Support general department activities.
The successful candidate will have a high growth potential with a proven track record in the following:
- Minimum 1-year experience in real estate research, banking, equity analyst, or underwriting experience in multifamily sector preferred. Real estate industry experience and strong skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, attention to detail and accuracy, written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and effective collaborative working style.
- Bachelors degree from top-tier university/college, advance degrees a plus.
