Summary
The primary purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to implement requests from the Marketing and Merchandising departments for new promotions / content on the FTD.com website.
Responsibilities
* Works closely with the Marketing and Merchandising teams to refresh and maintain content (copy, home page units, etc) for the FTD.com website via our content management system. * Works closely with various groups within our Marketing department to implement new partner promotions, micro sites, etc. * Responsible for testing all changes that are made to the content management system to ensure accuracy. * Works closely with the business analysts and developers to assist with testing new functionality for the website. * Works closely with the manager of operations to define processes and procedures as it relates to working within the team and with other departments within FTD.com. * Participate in on call support three weeks a year to support holiday initiatives. * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience preferred * Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment. * Proficient in MS Word and Excel; Access a plus * Able to multi task, prioritize critical issues and work within all levels of the organization * Prior experience with website content management preferred but not required * Experience with html * Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, etc. * Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs
