Summary
The Business Account Executive (BAE) is responsible for growing and retaining revenue in their assigned Commercial Accounts. The BAE is expected to sell individual products and integrated complex communication solutions throughout an organization and develop/maintain executive level relationships within the businesses they serve. The SBAE will focus significant effort on securing sales through multiple techniques including, cold-calling, telemarketing, networking, and events.
Responsibilities
* Grow and retain revenue in assigned commercial accounts * Sell new products and services to small and medium business accounts * Service contract renewals and develop incremental sales opportunities with assigned account module * Develop and maintain executive level relationships with local businesses * Maintain relationships with the appropriate internal resources, i.e., Sales Engineers, Regulatory, Field Operations, Product Management, Implementation, Marketing, and Project Management * Accurate forecasting and reporting with a concentration on securing customer contracts
Ideal Candidate
* Outstanding sales skills * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Strong time management and organizational skills * Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record * Preferred 1 year of business to business sales experience in a high activity sales group * Preferred 1 year minimum experience in telecommunications or Information Technology * Preferred knowledge of voice and data technologies, applications, and how customers use and purchase these technologies including but not limited to High Speed Internet, Dedicated Internet, Data Services, Local and Long Distance, IP, Hosted Solutions & Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)
Compensation and Working Conditions

Working Conditions

Competitive base pay based on experience, up to $42,000 Target commission schedule of another $36,000, however uncapped for those that excel Corporate laptop, cell phone, credit card Continuous training and development
