Summary
Responsible for tracking all reporting and financial covenants for all non-SFR loans in FRB’s portfolio including business loans, commercial real estate, construction (including SFR), other secured and unsecured loans. Also responsible for developing and providing portfolio reporting (maturities, annual reviews, covenants, and documentation exceptions) to RM and BB teams. Lead and motivate cross-departmental teams to develop and adopt new processes. Proactively interface with professionals throughout the firm to create positive working relationships.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all ongoing loan monitoring requirements including reporting financial covenants, annual reviews, and documentation exceptions are tracked and cleared in a timely manner. * Develop and maintain systems for tracking loan monitoring due dates and resolution dates. * Drive efficiency in loan monitoring function including systems optimization. Map all operational processes including steps necessary to request, receive, image, analyze, and report data. * Develop reports to identify past-due items and pending items for use by RMs, BBs, executive management, regulators, and audit/loan review. * Maintain in-depth knowledge of FRB loan policies and provide input to policy changes. * Interface with regulators and audit/loan review as required to provide data and address questions. * Serve as a member of Credit Administration leadership team, contributing proactively to team strategies and problem-solving. * Supervise team of 5-10 professionals ranging from junior to seasoned credit professionals. * Recruit and retain qualified personnel as needed to support business growth.
Ideal Candidate
* 10 or more years in financial services including managing a process-oriented administrative function. * Strong credit skills including experience with business lending and commercial real estate. * Demonstrated managerial experience * Strong process orientation and organizational skills. * Ability to think creatively, problem solve, and drive continuous process improvement. * Proven ability to drive change through team collaboration. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
