Debt Investment Associate

The Global Real Estate (GRE) team is seeking to add an Associate to support the Investments team in all regional commercial real estate investment activities. The ideal candidate will have loan underwriting experience in fixed rate core and floating rate value add investment strategies secured by all real estate product types including multifamily, retail, industrial, and office, medical office, student housing, and hotels This position will be based in Charlotte, Chicago, San Francisco, Newport Beach, or Florida.

* Analyze and underwrite potential commercial mortgage opportunities. * Develop investment memorandums, credit committee presentations, loan applications, commitments and other associated documents. * Support Senior Loan officers by providing analysis, including discounted cash flows, financial and credit analyses of properties, locations, markets, borrowers and other due diligence as well as assisting in the closing of awarded transactions. * Perform ongoing market and property specific research. * Participate in industry events to gain industry knowledge, network with industry peers, and further increase the team’s presence in the market.

**Required Skills** * Undergraduate degree. * Minimum three years of commercial real estate experience. * Proficient in Argus and Excel. * Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills. **Desired Skills** * Masters degree or CFA a plus. * Strong presentation skills. * Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated team player with positive work ethic and comfort working in a fast paced, demanding environment.
