Summary

Manage a team engaged in planning overall office layout and interior design. Interpret documents and provide value-added expertise. Hire, manage, train, develop, and evaluate staff. Develop, implement, document, and ensure adherence to processes and procedures and overall space planning strategy. Participate in or lead special projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to developing and executing high-level strategies for space planning. Support execution of strategic planning and workplace projects. Manage key internal and external relationships.
  • Provide liaison within business area and/or cross-functionally through workplace planning and forecasting activities. Present insights and learning. Advise management of significant findings.
  • Develop team members and provide ongoing professional guidance and direction
  • Coordinate and administer assignments, monitor team progress, and maintain schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate. Improve efficiencies to reduce costs.
  • Design, modify, install, and/or maintain metrics that drive and measure team performance.
  • Respond to escalated and sensitive inquiries and other requests for data.
  • Ensure that reports are filed timely and that databases are maintained.
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop long-range facilities plans.
  • Partner with real estate, construction, facilities, administrative services, and security teams to ensure service delivery.
  • Plan and approve staff-oriented communication and information.
Ideal Candidate

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

Minimum Experience

  • 6+ years of related experience

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience implementing real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals.
  • Act as company's agent and effectively negotiate business terms and conditions for commercial real estate products
  • Strong analytical ability to create and analyze relevant real estate documents(project initiation, market comparable reports, RFPs, proposal comparison packages, letters of intent, and broker's opinions of value)
  • Knowledge of all state real estate agency requirements to ensures compliance with SOX & corporate policies
  • Knowledge of property acquisition/disposition to meet client's requirements and timeline
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles including book and cash flow projections, NPV, and/or IRR
  • Experience working with brokers and/or Lease Administration tools, Construction and Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance/Accounting teams
  • Ability to closely monitor and report real estate transaction activity
