Summary
The ideal candidate must have excellent problem solving skills, collaborate to research and analyze complex business problems with subject matter experts (SMEs), determine training goals, method of delivery, and clearly articulate all of this to the learner in a clear and concise manner. To accomplish this, you will need experience working independently, confidence to work remotely, and the skillset necessary to execute the plan. We use a variety of authoring tools including Adobe Captivate 8, Articulate Presenter, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia.
Responsibilities
* Understand business needs and translate them into learning solutions. * Use innovative ideas to design, develop, implement, and evaluate a wide range of scalable learning experiences with an emphasis on elearning. * Identify and incorporate the most effective practices in learning delivery, including gamification, social and peer learning, informal and performance-based learning. * Identify opportunities for enhancing existing training by continually measuring and improving the learning experiences. * Post and maintain learning modules on the Cornerstone Learning Management System (RA LMC).
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors degree or equivalent. Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or * 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and measuring the effectiveness of elearning. * Experience designing and developing job aids, facilitator guides, visual aids, documentation, etc. * Experience using authoring tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate) and other Adobe products. * Expert knowledge of video, audio and visual design. * Experience with e-learning frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM and CCAF. * Knowledge and use of elearning technical standards (SCORM, AICC). * Attention to detail is a must. **Preferred** * Instructional Design certification. * Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Experience making elearning exciting, fun and social. * Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely. * Knowledge of adult learning theory and how to incorporate concepts into training programs. * Project management skills and ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions, levels, and geographic distance.
