Summary
Eventbrite is looking for a rock-star Receptionist. As the first point of contact for everyone who enters the Briteland, you’ll be an integral part of the team, responsible for making everyone feel welcome and championing our culture. We’re looking for someone with an infectiously upbeat attitude, a make-it-happen spirit, and who can multitask like a pro.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for each person who visits the Briteland, get them signed in and on to their proper destination with the party they are visiting * Partner with our kick-ass Recruiting team to make sure every candidate who comes through our doors has a delightful experience * Schedule travel and coordinate event planning efforts and provide administrative support for the larger Briteling Experience (aka HR) Team * Receive all incoming packages, mail, telegrams, balloons and surprise cupcake deliveries * Support office management duties and help keep our office in tip-top shape (we strongly believe in keeping our home beautiful and spotless) * Manage office supply inventory and orders and coordinate general department purchasing
Ideal Candidate
**The Skill Set:** * The ability to make anyone feel comfortable and welcome—you have great social skills and are quick on your feet * Equally awesome written and verbal communication skills, you’ll be chatting with people online and off throughout the day * Slightly obsessive attention to detail and the proven ability to create simple, sustainable, and organized processes * A natural enthusiasm for resolving problems, and the ability to stay cool under pressure * Strong project, time, and people management skills * 1+ years of customer support experience in a similar position and/or at a growing start-up is a plus * Bachelor’s Degree **Bonus Points:** * The ability to learn and remember 350+ people’s names at lightning speed! * A great sense of humor and a winning smile (OK, a great smile is just an added plus) * An affinity for picking the right playlist daily, you’ll have the final say in what tunes are played in the bathrooms (a serious responsibility!)
