Summary
The Marketing Operations Manager is an integral member of the sales marketing growth team. This position requires applied knowledge of marketing automation tools, database management, and reporting to optimize for growth. This is a critical role within the marketing organization and includes high-level visibility and interaction with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
* Help evolve the global marketing tech stack administration & execution ensuring our systems are best-in-class to support global business requirements around automation, conversion and optimization tracking, lead scoring, personalization, and lifecycle management * Build, maintain, and document operational processes and marketing technology integrations * Manage elements of marketing reporting & analytics around campaign benchmarking across audience, channel, campaign and pipeline * Define and refine the metrics that matter and manage the process to package and socialize these measurements for cross-functional teams and drive adoption and ultimately sales funnel performance improvements * Participate in cross-functional data hygiene/governance initiatives * Build reports and dashboards to provide visibility into marketing campaign results, funnel/pipeline health and the ROI of marketing investments * Evaluate technologies and drive insights and ideas for testing, process improvements or technology enhancements * Propose improvements to marketing and sales processes to drive speed and efficiency in systems
Ideal Candidate
* Proficient in systems and technology management, marketing analytics * 3-5 years of B2B experience in the technology industry, preferably working with a sales organization focused on large or enterprise level accounts * Experience supporting or developing marketing programs that drive pipeline contribution such as (SEO, Content, offline experiences,...etc) * Proficient in Salesforce and familiar with marketing automation solutions (Marketo preferred) * Managed a large scale marketing database and overseen augmentation and supported initiatives around improving database quality * Proficient with Excel and have strong analytical skills * Problem-solving maven adept at quickly dissecting an issue into its component parts and identifying the root cause or opportunity * Excellent prioritization skills. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure * Understanding of the sales pipeline from lead to bookings and very familiar with the marketing contribution to this pipeline * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility to multi-task across projects with varying deadlines * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Bachelor's degree with a focus on business, technical, computer science, or other related field * High energy, self-starter with bias for action and sense of urgency to deliver results **Bonus Points** * Familiarity with multi-touch attribution (MTA) and experience reporting using an MTA methodology * Experience with enterprise level contact strategies including account-based-marketing (ABM) * Active Eventbrite user with a passion for live events
