Summary
Dyn is seeking an experienced Field Sales Engineer or a Solutions Architect with well-honed business management, innovative management, and technical connection skills. This role will see you working in the field with some of the world’s largest and most significant enterprises. This is a pivotal role seeing the individual lead discussion on the subject of tomorrow's internet.
Responsibilities
* Act as a primary technical advisor and solutions evangelist for our enterprise sales force * Responsible for setting lasting impressions about our technology, products, teams, and company * Ensure the regional effectiveness (revenue acquisition) of our enterprise accounts team * Partner with business leadership to increase value into our new and current customer base, specifically our enterprise accounts * Represent client interest to collaborate in the design of long-term technology roadmap initiatives * Coach, mentor and provide technical leadership to other members of the pre-sales team * Drive thought and increase prospect and client awareness, value and engagement of Dyn’s product offerings * Provide technical ownership of the RFP process
Ideal Candidate
* Strong business and technical background including progressively responsible experience in an enterprise technical sales role; competency typically achieved through 10 years of related experience * In-depth knowledge of the Internet; developed insight into common infrastructure / architecture, technologies and best practices * Competent, dynamic and credible speaker, comfortable presenting both the technical and business value to a wide and mixed-discipline audience * Talented communicator with the social intelligence to understand when to challenge and when to listen * Ability to effectively drive thought leadership in communications with customers and prospects in areas that might be unfamiliar to them * Deeply passionate student of technology, showing a genuine professional interest in keeping up with market trends, research and new developments in relevant Internet technologies * Motivation and keen ability to translate complex technical information into simplified concepts to reach the widest possible audience * Ability to understand, communicate and manage across the entire project lifecycle * Possess in-depth knowledge of competing and adjoining cloud technology * Demonstrated success in new business opportunity identification * Considerable knowledge and experience working with enterprise clients * Cultural fit: Trust, Passion, Performance, and Respect
