Drake University, a private comprehensive university dedicated to quality teaching, seeks applications for a full-time consecutive term Assistant Professor of Practice in Marketing position. Due to the emergence of mobile, social, and digital technologies in the field of marketing, this Assistant Professor position requires instruction in digital marketing coursework. Preferred applicants will have up-to-date knowledge of search engine marketing (both SEO and paid search), digital display advertising, social media marketing, web analytics tools, and other relevant skills. The ability to teach a stand-alone Marketing Digital Analytics course is preferred. Significant work experience in digital marketing required. Normal teaching load is seven courses (twenty-one credit hours) per year. Excellence in teaching, research, advising, and service or outreach is expected. All candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching and either active consulting or a research program.
