Summary
The ideal candidate should be a seasoned project management professional with extensive cinema industry experience, the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders internal and external to Dolby; and the ability to manage projects and events in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments. Utilizing solid business acumen, an analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills, the ideal candidate will plan and administer critical administrative functions for the Dolby Cinema Business in close cooperation with the Dolby Cinema teams.
Responsibilities
* This role is to service the Dolby Cinema deployments for the Asia-Pacific and China Regions, in close cooperation with the rest of the Administrative team in California, using consistent processes, procedures and tools. * Manage and support Dolby Cinema’s vendor relationships. It may include, but not limited to contract terms compliance, communications forums & portals, QBRs, NDAs and feedback mechanisms. * Coordinate with Finance and Procurement to manage in-region equipment, services procurement and tracking system for the Dolby Cinema Business. Generate shopping carts to support the Business, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. * Utilize a logistics system to support in-region Dolby Cinema deployments. Own its implementation, updates and communications. * Manage, for the region, the update and communication of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Dolby Cinema Business. * Schedule regular in-region meetings with key vendors, suppliers as required by business and contract terms to update deployment support plans.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+? years of project management in the motion picture industry and/?or other relevant industry experience. * Extensive experience successfully managing complex projects, with multiple stakeholders both internal and external. * The ability to effectively lead a cross functional team; ideally have managed or have successfully led project teams (significant new build or retrofit cinema projects) * Technical expertise including knowledge of: * Motion picture content creation, distribution, exhibition technologies, processes and procedures * Outstanding customer facing skills and the ability to market and sell projects **Required Skills** * Strong verbal and written communicator, fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English a MUST. * Strong leadership and change management skills * Robust organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail * Committed to quality, with a low tolerance for accepting ‘good enough’ * Excellent program and project management skills * Ability to work independently and within a fast paced team environment. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting specific deadlines * Self-motivated with an ability to maintain high standards and results while working independently * Naturally able to network, build and maintain relationships * High-ambiguity tolerance * Diplomatic and able to execute in a dynamic deadline driven environment
