Responsibilities
* You will manage a small team of Account Managers who works with an assigned list of customers ensuring they are getting the resources they need to be successful * Engage with Director and C-Level executives at our customers to understand their business needs * Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing and Leadership to execute the best possible experience for our most strategic customers * Drive a culture focused on customer loyalty, advocacy and love * Ensure your team is working with customers to ensure they are leveraging the solution effectively and finding value in the service. * Build tools and processes to proactively monitor and identify usage trends in order to uncover renewal risks, while supporting greater adoption rates. * Hold Account Managers responsible for a high level of customer service and accountability to the customers goals as well as DigitalOcean’s * Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership and DigitalOcean leadership * Ensure all KPIs and relevant customer insights and data are tracked in Salesforce.com * Work both collaboratively and independently within a team setting (we love Slack!) * Champion and advocate for customer requirements within DigitalOcean (be their voice)
Ideal Candidate
* Strong background with technology specifically infrastructure * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Passionate about sales & customer success * Strong identity with our brand and team culture * Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition * Prior experience in similar environments in Customer Success or Sales, Solutions Engineering roles * Prior management experience * Strong communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts in clear and concise terms * Startup experience a big plus
