Responsibilities
**Job Summary:** * The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of Cushman & Wakefield’s dynamic, high-volume Capital Markets Group who works closely with the team’s Atlanta-based office and industrial brokerage professionals to support all phases of the investment sales business, including preparing detailed financial analysis / valuations, preparing proposals for new business opportunities, writing offering materials for new assignments, and researching and analyzing sale transactions and market trends. **Duties & Responsibilities:** - Assist senior brokerage professionals with both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the investment sales process, including property underwriting and valuation, preparing offering materials for new listings, and preparing proposals for new business, particularly with respect to financial footnotes, tenant and rent roll presentations, tenant credit analyses, and market leasing fundamentals - Prepare detailed financial analyses for office and industrial properties using Argus and proprietary Excel modeling programs - Perform property-level due diligence, including but not limited to reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting various types of real estate documents, such as leases, lease abstracts, rent rolls, income statements, budgets, balance sheets, tenant financials, loan documents, property condition assessments, and other information to support the underwriting / valuation process - Identify and clearly communicate critical property level financial and due diligence issues and notify senior team members of findings - Perform market research analysis for property- and market-specific projects, aggregate research results into excel spreadsheets and written reports, and manage various critical internal research databases - May interact with clients in the performance and tracking of due diligence materials and preparation of offering materials throughout the investment sale process
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a related field such as finance or real estate; an advanced degree is a plus - 2-4 years of real estate financial analysis experience required - Strong working knowledge and direct experience with Argus required - The ability to convey relevant topics through both written and oral communication with internal team members and external clients - Strong knowledge and significant ability with Microsoft Excel - Knowledge and demonstrated ability with PowerPoint - The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and team-centered environment - Detail oriented professional with pride in the quality of personal work and a strong desire to contribute to the success of the overall team
