Summary
The role of the Senior ProgramManager is to coordinate the activities and project planning for crossfunctional areas and requirements to ensure that deadlines are being met andthe overall goal of the project is being executed. This role is responsible forworking with partners across the organization to align program support to theoverall business objectives and product roadmap. Superior interpersonal skills and the ability towork at multiple levels across the organization are keys to this position.
Responsibilities
* Lead programs from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation * Establish project requirements, priorities, and deadlines * Ensure projects are completed in accordance with all scope, risk mitigation and time constraints * Manage budget for assigned program, monitor program progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly * Provide status updates and milestone deliverable artifacts * Coordinate efforts requiring multiple independent work streams to accomplish a defined result * Facilitate project meetings and cross-functional awareness updates * Assist leadership in change management efforts * Partner with portfolio management team to support the development of program management processes , tools and best practices * Perform highly complex, multi-year, project planning efforts spanning multiple Manheim functional departments. * Coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects * Workcross functionally with th team and our partners to develop effective workingrelationships to support our mission and vision * Collaboratingwith the team to continue to effectively iterate how we execute onprograms/projects as the business evolves * Maintainand grow knowledge around PM best practices and leadership * Tailorleadership and communications to your stakeholders and team to ensure everyoneis working collectively toward the program/project goals * Ensurethat all stakeholders receive the right information at the right level at theright time to inform effective decision making
Ideal Candidate
* BS degree in related field or relevant work experience * 7-10 Years experience in technology related activities for large scale enterprise projects * PMP Certification preferred * Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex enterprise programs and projects to successful execution * Strong interpersonal skills around communications at all levels in an organization * Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and facilitating requirements gathering sessions is required * Experience in automotive industry a plus * Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently * Hands-on with the ability to thrive under the pressure of a fast-paced organization * Creative thinker that posses learning agility and ability to explore new areas and opportunities * Highly quantitative and data oriented; Detail oriented with the ability to provide and analyze data and make sound strategic business decisions.
