Responsibilities
**Job Description:** **Seeking a talented and dedicated Director of Multifamily Acquisitions!** Continental Properties is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as a **Director of Multifamily Acquisitions** at our home office in Menomonee Falls, WI. The Director of Multifamily Acquisitions is responsible for identifying and securing sites for our multifamily projects in addition to leading the team through the development process from due diligence to construction. The position works closely with the Vice President of Development and other company executives. We are considering candidates outside of Wisconsin, and relocation assistance will be provided. **What you'll do:** * Identify and secure sites for development * Evaluate sites based on Continental’s market and site criteria, along with financial analysis to determine viability and profitability of developing site into Springs product * Negotiate all business points for the site acquisition along with required extensions * Interface directly with local officials, community stakeholders, land owners, and legal representatives to coordinate all issues and bring projects to a successful completion * Lead, develop, and motivate a multifamily development team
Ideal Candidate
* Four-year degree in business, real estate, or finance; emphasis in real estate desired * Experience locating and entitling sites for multifamily development; demonstrated knowledge of what it takes to make a project site successful * High degree of strategic agility and business acumen; effectively deal with ambiguity and comfortable with risk and uncertainty * Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution and problem solving * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated track record of success, a results oriented mindset, and a drive to persevere amidst setbacks and resistance
