Responsibilities
We are seeking an Acquisitions Manager for our New York City headquarters, who will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating real estate development opportunities, site inspections and negotiations for Greystone Property Development. The manager will assist in the identification and evaluation of property investments in New York City. Greystone Property Development develops commercial and residential real estate throughout the United States. By maximizing our experience, creativity and resources, we transform non-traditional real estate opportunities into high-performing assets. **Responsibilities:** * Sourcing deals in a variety of manners from screening and evaluating leads, to networking and cold calling, while identifying target markets to acquire properties and strategically targeting deal sources * Evaluate prospective acquisition properties, create budgets to project income, ROE and IRRS, and analyze market data and reports pertinent to potential acquisitions * Site inspection of potential acquisitions * Analysis of competitive properties, neighborhoods and markets * Negotiate purchases with sellers: draft or review offers to purchase and address inquiries that arise between signing purchase agreements and closing * Prepare pitch books to present investment opportunities in-house and to investors * Maintain contact and relationships with potential deal sources, including brokers and owners * Network with existing and new contacts * Scout target areas

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills * Talent for writing * Technology proficient * Attention to detail / thoroughness / focus * Determination / willingness to work long and hard to grow a business * Creative and a focus on solutions * 5-7 years of relevant real estate acquisitions experience in New York City * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Excellent presentation skills * Team player, self-motivated and strong work ethic
