Summary
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented group of marketing and sales professionals to plan and execute CloudPassage participation in marketing events, including: trade shows, conferences, executive dinners, etc. Your strong event planning, project management and interpersonal skills will serve you well in this role. This will be a hands-on position in a typical start-up environment, so we are looking for a candidate that isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and collaborate with product marketing and sales to maximize the impact of our event investments.
Responsibilities
* Work with the CMO and sales to put together a rolling, 12 month event plan and strategy * Project manage the thousands of details around execution of these events, including booth design, messaging, staffing, travel, speaker participation and much more. * Line up outside resources (e.g. booth property rental, giveaways) and manage to on-time delivery * Apply creativity in design and delivery that amplifies messaging and on-site presence * Recommend and help implement marketing-related process improvements
Ideal Candidate
* At least 5-10 years’ experience in event planning for a B2B company, ideally for an enterprise software company * Background in security software a plus, but not necessary * Strong project management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Incredible attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality * Must be a team player that works collaboratively with sales, product groups * Commitment to transparency and direct feedback for continuous improvement * Ability to bring an internal team together for maximized results
