The Channel Marketing Manager is a high impact member of the marketing team whose primary focus is to define, drive, and manage collaborative channel marketing initiatives in close alignment with strategic channel partners and OpenDNS sales leadership. We are seeking a highly motivated team player, with a passion for cyber security, sales enablement, and marketing excellence. This position should have strong organizational skills and a balanced understanding of product marketing, corporate marketing, field marketing, and channel sales. Key responsibilities include driving partner enablement, creating channel-friendly assets and training, and ensuring overall channel go-to-market readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, field marketing, demand generation, and channel sales to create partner program assets, including training materials, collateral, sales tools, and web content.
- Spearhead enablement activity with partners to drive net new and install base sales
- Work with channel sales team to communicate information to channel partners, including updates to the partner program, availability of new assets and training materials, product updates, and relevant company announcements.
- Assist the sales team in the development of actionable and measurable programs for the channel partners.
- Increase the quality of channel partner opportunities through the execution of targeted, results-driven, joint marketing programs.
- Plan and execute channel partner campaigns and activities such as webinars, email marketing, event planning, and customer engagement to drive increased market adoption and meet channel revenue goals.
- Manage the Partner Portal including ongoing content refresh
- Create social media content for partners to leverage with customers
Education & Experience:
- BA/BS degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B tech marketing role, with at least 3 years of experience in the channel.
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
- Working knowledge of distribution channels.
- Experience developing turnkey partner enablement and lead generation campaigns, with in-depth knowledge of all marketing media.
- Familiar with channel programs including MDF, co-op, and loyalty programs
- Amazing writing skills.
- A natural communicator.
- Strong project, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Information Security market.
Highly Desirable:
- Ability to travel to company, industry, and channel partner event locations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fast learner.
