Responsibilities
- Strong technical selling skills and experience in Enterprise Networking Switching, Routing and Wireless concepts, Software, Services; Automation and Orchestration to cover our customer's major go-to-market initiatives. - This individual will be responsible for working on Cisco's newest and most cutting edge product, software, and services entries into the Enterprise Networking market segment. - Ability to develop strong, successful relationships with multiple teams and at multiple levels of the Cisco and partner organizations (GAM, SE, CSE, CSA, RM, SEM, Director, Partners, Marketing, BUs etc.). Have credibility with these players. - It is expected that the individual will work closely with and often lead the Account and SE teams and sales & customer executives at an early stage to accomplish several objectives. - Be on the forefront of understanding and being able to communicate Cisco's strategy and vision in this new technology direction. - Able to adopt and drive a consultative selling process versus a product feature sell. - Business reporting as required (weekly commit, pipeline development using ISP, top deals) - Provide product expertise with business value for customers including ROI/TCO analysis. - Contribute to the development of content and messaging that emphasizes Cisco's strengths in this market and resonate with both the field and customers. - Ability to execute on a business plan to gain market share, build solid relationships with customers and internal constituents. - Industry knowledge, market trends and direction awareness is essential, as Cisco will continue to partner and form eco-systems to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customer base.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications** - Demonstrate executive relevance, and have ability to position complex solutions at senior IT Business Lines and CxO levels. - Understand and be able to articulate Cisco's vision, strategy and architectural approach to Enterprise Networks. - The capacity to articulate the Cisco Enterprise Networks/ Enterprise Cross Architecture value proposition to a very diverse community comprising all levels of business executives. - Have the ability to connect customer business needs with Cisco technology solutions - Candidate should be an excellent presenter and able to represent Cisco and its solutions with the highest level of professionalism. - Minimum eight years pre-sales (engineering or direct sales), business development and sales experience in Enterprise Networking and Wireless solutions. **Desired Skills** - Display an In-depth knowledge of Cisco competitors - Excellent communication and evangelical skills (written and verbal) to all management levels and within customer organization. - Ability to listen carefully and extract key issues. - Be able to explain the benefits of complex technology in easy to understand language - Be a self-starter, highly motivated and ambitious individual who thrives on achieving and exceeding expectations.
