DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a qualified DevOps Engineer with four (4) years of DevOps experience who is interested in joining a highly successful and dynamic organization with a strong background in developing configuration and automation management solutions. Specific duties would include designing, developing and providing oversight to the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes for the Project Ares cyber-training platform as well as other product lines. The candidate will need to possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) as the work includes interfacing with various sub-product teams, customers, and contracted workforce. This is a permanent full-time position; U.S. citizenship required.

Four (4) year degree in a technical field to include one of the following (computer science, computer information systems, engineering, enterprise systems administration, etc..). Degree may be substituted with an additional four (4) years of technical experience in one of the above fields Four (4) years of experience working in a DevOps role Two (2) years of experience working with virtualization software such as VMware, KVM, Xen and Hyper-V Strong experience working with public cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCE, etc. Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines Experience with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and WhiteSource Experience with source code repository tools such as Git and SVN Experience with binary repository tools such as Artifactory and Microsoft Azure Container Registry (ACR) Experience with secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault and Microsoft KeyVault Experience with containerization such as LXC and Docker Experience with container orchestration technologies such Kubernetes (AKS preferably) Strong experience in *nux/Windows environments (Additional experience as a System Administrator is a plus) Strong experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Golang and PowerShell Familiarity with the Agile process Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible and SaltStack Knowledge of Dynamic Provisioning tools such as Vagrant and Packer Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Artillery, Postman, T-Robot etc. Knowledge of diverse infrastructure platforms and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts Strong communication skills (verbal communication skills, collaboration skills) US Citizen/US Resident required. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Existing US Government security clearance a plus. Remote work authorized.
