Summary
The Human Resources/Recruitment Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative activities in support of the recruitment process and other HR processes. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing key administrative support to the HR. The Human Resources Assistant will track and manage all employee annual background screenings and due dates for performance evaluations. The Human Resources Assistant will maintain all clerical paperwork, filing and record keeping as it relates to the Human Resources Department. The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position. Responsibilities
* Must complete clerical/administrative activities within specified timeframe * Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills * Computer proficiency in MS-Word and internet * Ability to manage multiple tasks and a busy office environment * Assist in employee appreciation events * Ability to report to work as scheduled, in a timely fashion and will an attitude oriented toward service. * Ability to understand and comply with all Chrysalis Health policies and procedures. * Presents in a professional manner in the community, in person, on telephone and in written communication including times of extreme stress and when others are upset. * Works effectively with culturally diverse groups and individuals experiencing an exacerbation of either psychiatric, substance use and/or medical symptoms, as well as experiencing a stressful situation. * Works cooperatively in the work environment and takes direction from management with dignity, respect and in a productive, professional manner. * Works cordially with others in a team setting. * Assumes a professional, helpful style in all encounters with visitors, vendors and other professionals and represents the company in a positive manner 100% of the time. * Consistently demonstrates an understanding of, supports, and focuses on the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the company in day-to-day activities. * Ability to render compassionate care and an equal commitment to serve others in need of assistance. * Reviews and responds to electronic and hand written mail, memoranda and other correspondence and responds to phone inquiries timely (within 24-hours or next available business day) and in a professional manner. * Accepts other special projects as assigned. * Must maintain training requirements related to the position annually. * Must successfully complete all criminal background checks annually. * Must provide documentation of a valid Florida driver’s license and proof of insurance which must be maintained throughout tenure in the amount of at least $50,000/$100,000/$50,000 for liability limits. * Must maintain a safe driving record with no more than 6 points on motor vehicle report (MVR). * Carries out special assignments as directed at time of a hurricane or other disaster. * Ability to utilize HRIS system for payroll, work functions and evaluations. * Must be able to use utilize HRIS management system for payroll and evaluations.
Ideal Candidate
Graduation with a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1-year clerical experience; preferably in a healthcare setting. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Experience in serving high volume, multiple locations. * Computer literate and proficiency to Internet, online applications and email.
Compensation and Working Conditions
Hourly Pay $10 - $12
