Summary
This position is responsible for interfacing with Saint-Gobain Vetrotex America customers on a continuous basis. The primary focus is responding to customer inquiries including requests for pricing, technical information, order placement, requests for order status including schedules and shipment information.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with customers, field sales personnel, and internal departments to provide maximum service to all SG Vetrotex customers. * Respond to assigned customer inquiries for pricing, delivery information and specific order requirements. * Responsible for pricing customer orders in accordance with pricing guidelines and consistent with Company objectives. * Work with Customers and the Finance Department personnel as needed to facilitate the timely payment of invoices. Work with customers and Finance to resolve payment issues to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. * Responsible for following Company procedures to obtain credit clearances, progress payments, certificates of origin, certified invoices, and other documentation required to process and ship customer orders. * Review of customer purchase orders to ensure conformance to standard terms of sale. This position is responsible for working with the customer and Company personnel to resolve/reconcile commercial terms and conditions issues.
Ideal Candidate
An Associates’ degree preferably in Business plus 3-4 years of experience in Customer Relations or comparable experience is preferred. The incumbent must be Sales and Service oriented and maintains excellent communication skills and intermediary personal computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office. The ability to read and write Spanish at an intermittent level is preferred.
