Summary
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of CEB. In addition to providing administrative and operational support to our CIO, this position also owns a variety of communication and planning responsibilities that support the department at large. We are seeking candidates who have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoy working in high-energy and fast-paced environments and who look forward to owning and mastering a diverse range of responsibilities. This is an excellent role for candidates looking to further develop their communication, planning and project management skills.
Responsibilities
* Support the CIO in the creation of decks and presentations, including ideation, creating and managing drafts, creating visual graphics to display complex ideas, word smithing, proofreading, etc. * Own a variety of communication-based responsibilities that support the department at large, including newsletters,announcements, informational documents and FAQs, etc. * Conduct daily calendar and inbox management; independentlyreview the CIO’s daily and weekly schedule and proactively prepare meeting materials,reminders and follow-ups as needed * Conduct domestic and international trip planningand booking (flights, hotels, itineraries, etc.) and manage expense reportingand reimbursement * Provide end-to-end meeting support for keyinternal and external meetings (e.g., schedule meeting, reserve and set upmeeting room and accompanying technology, provide materials, etc.) * Manage key department written resources anddocuments (on-boarding and training materials, presentations, etc.) * Own and/or contribute to special projects anddepartment-wide initiatives; plan and own logistics for department events (TownHalls, Hackathons, etc.) * Related duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required * At least 2-3 years of full time work experience preferred * Outstanding professional maturity and discretion; ability to manage highly confidential information appropriately and work effectively with senior leaders * Advanced familiarity with and ability to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint applications; basic familiarity with Excel * Superior organization, prioritization, project management, and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communicationskills and a passion for creating effective presentations and other forms ofwritten communication * Ability to work effectively within acollaborative environment; excellent customer service skills * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with energy and enthusiasm
