The aim of Bitnami is to simplify the deployment of web applications, such as wikis or blogs, in order to make them more accessible. There are a lot of high quality open source software packages that aren’t used as much as they could be because getting them up and running can be a complex process. We want to change that!

Summary

We’re looking for an experienced marketing operations specialist with B2B demand generation, social media, and events experience. This position will be responsible for creating innovative direct marketing campaigns and optimizing our website integrations and existing campaigns to generate increased awareness and qualified leads. In addition, we will be expanding our evangelism, outreach, and events efforts, so the ability to collaborate and thrive in field marketing activities will be critical.

This is position is ideal for a hands-on individual who can take projects from concept to implementation, has a proven track record of simultaneously managing and delivering multiple successful lead generation campaigns, but is also able to work a room at a meet-up. A great candidate is someone who is metrics-driven, sociable, likes technology and technologists, and enjoys the process of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and the rest of the marketing team on the conceptualization and execution of marketing campaigns, meet ups, events, and other demand generation activities
  • Use a mix of content marketing, email, webinars, and event-based campaigns to drive awareness and leads
  • Participate in field marketing events, meetups, and tradeshows
  • Design, test and execute progressive nurturing/DRIP campaigns with marketing automation
  • Collaborate with web team developers on campaign forms, landing pages, and other technical integrations critical to the marketing engineManage contact database, unsubscribes/opt-outs, and list imports
  • Data mine from current prospects to formulate unique lists for demand creation
  • Leverage social networks to enhance campaign performance
  • Apply response analysis, A/B testing and best practices to optimize all aspects of demand gen
  • Perform statistical analysis for pattern recognition and correlations across market segments and target demographics
  • Report on campaign metrics, closed loop reporting and ROI
  • The ability to wear multiple hats and move beyond this role as needed (we’re a startup!)
Ideal Candidate
  • 3-5 years of B2B demand generation and field marketing experience
  • Experience with marketing automation software, webinar platforms, email engines, CRM/SFA, HTML templates, and web forms.
  • Personable and engaging in field marketing settings
  • Detailed oriented
  • Familiarity and experience with basic statistical analysis
  • Good follow-through on commitments and project oversight skills.
