Performance Test Engineer

As a Performance Test Engineer you are responsible for designing and building advance performance test suites to exercise our best of class applications. This position will work closely with development, test engineering, and product teams to understand, test, and communicate product performance.

* Design and maintain mechanisms to simulate production-like dynamic transactions of financial data in test environments. * Maintain performance environments with appropriate test data and code versions * Advise development teams on scalability and performance strategies * Troubleshoot production performance-related issues and verify patches * Execute automated performance-focused regression testing * Own and execute JMeter tests of an OLTP product to determine availability, speed, concurrency and recoverability. * Design/build/execute performance tests in Linux and/or Windows environments using SQL Server transactional data bases, data warehouses, and - Hadoop data stores * Provide performance feedback via reports and discussions

* Minimum of 2 years development or test automation experience * In depth knowledge of various performance test tools including Apache JMeter * Familiar with IIS and configuring web servers * Experience configuring, executing, and reporting performance metrics to development and product teams * Solid TSQL coding skills * Strong working knowledge of relational databases, partitioning, SSIS, and SQL server performance tuning **Preferred Qualifications** * Real-time bidding and Demand-Side Platform knowledge * Experience with message queueing * Scripting skills in Python, Perl, Shell or similar language * Experience with mission critical, 24x7 systems * Education, Training and Travel * BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience * Communication and Cognitive Abilities * Passionate in delivering high quality software * Strong critical thinking skills * Strong sense of ownership * Excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities, and proven design skills
